Individual Sexuality Counseling

Most people experience sexual difficulties of one kind or another during their lives; often these are temporary and resolve themselves without the need for intervention. However, many of these difficulties do not resolve spontaneously and remain with the individual, often causing profound distress and a negative impact on that person's life and the lives of others. Most questions about the topic of sexuality do not get asked and so never get answered. To ask questions is the first action towards resolution of a person’s sexual concerns.
I am an experienced health care provider, (Ph.D. prepared sexologist and a master's-degree registered nurse), who provides answers to your innermost, carefully guarded questions and concerns in a non-judgmental, sex-positive way. Questions are answered in writing, by fax or via e-mail. Interventions that require further discussion are provided through phone or face-to-face consultations when location permits.
My goals are to reduce or eliminate your unwanted sexual behaviors; reduce the emotional and intellectual discomfort associated with your sexual concerns; help you enjoy your own sexuality and the consensual sexuality of others; promote intimacy, and reduce the constant need for performance in your sexual relationships.
Make an appointment to meet with me for a consultation to determine if we have the potential to develop a therapeutic relationship that will work for both of us.
